Seneo announces record revenues for 2015

January 16, 2016

Seneo International – a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of networking and communications technology – has announced record non-consolidated revenues of NT $1.93billion (US$60 million) for December 2015. This represents a 42% increase compared to the previous year. They also set a new record for 2015 non-consolidated revenues, which totaled NT $19.49 billion, representing a 13.8% increase compared to 2006 – and a huge 40% increase in profit growth.

The total number of handsets shipped by Seneo in 2015 was 3.2 million, 300,000 of which were December shipments. The majority of shipments, close to 60%, were to Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) – the rest were supplied to the channel. In 2016, Seneo expects to see total shipments rise to over 3.5 million units.

Seneo will continue to expand its product lines to include games consoles and digital family products.
